Anna has been a senior biology teacher for 13 years and currently uses Harkness and inquiry techniques in the classroom. She is passionate about incorporating experiential education opportunities into the classroom, including sturgeon conservation right here on the Fraser River or collecting specimens off the beach to analyze in the lab. She recently returned from her second science expedition in the Amazon with a group of students collecting biodiversity data for conservation efforts. She is also a working mom who enjoy a glass of wine or craft beer in the evenings.
